Join me as I lead the 2nd summer of the Creative Strings Workshop designed as a fun and inventive way to merge the skills of traditionally trained string playing with Improvisation and Composition.
Beginner to Advanced young string players of the Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass are welcome! Jazz and Global Music are incorporated to express Individuality of Sound and to learn Music Theory. Principles of Yoga are used to bring awareness to breathing, movement, concentration and focus.
We'll end the weeks' activities with a concert on Friday, July 15 from 5:30 - 7pm.
The fee is $250.
I will be accepting only 20 string students.
